Windstream offers many additional benefits to employees at no charge.

Long Term Disability Insurance
Windstream provides long-term disability insurance at no cost to you. Coverage begins the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. Information on this benefit plan can be found in the summary plan description available on the Windstream Intranet.

Basic Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
Windstream provides life insurance and AD&D insurance at no cost to you. Coverage is automatically adjusted on each subsequent July 1, based on your eligible compensation as of the prior year.

Adoption Assistance
Windstream provides assistance to all employees who are building families through adoption. The Windstream Adoption Assistance Plan will assist eligible employees with eligible adoption-related expenses; reimbursement may not exceed a maximum of $1,500 per adoption.

Educational Assistance
All regular full-time and regular part-time employees are eligible for educational assistance. Employees may receive a maximum of $5,000 per calendar year for tuition and fees associated with job-related courses or non-job-related courses that are part of a degree program utilized by Windstream. Vocational, undergraduate, and graduate courses are eligible. Employees must receive a grade of “C” or better to qualify for reimbursement.

Windstream knows in order to be the best, we must recruit and retain the best employees in the industry. See a job that would be a perfect fit for someone you know? Make sure to tell your referrals to select “Employee Referral” then enter your name and Windstream email address in the text box labeled “Employee Referral – Please specify” when answering how they heard about the job at Windstream while creating their candidate profile. It’s as simple as that! Send your “A player” associates our way and earn a referral bonus if they’re hired – it’s a win/win! Referral bonuses are paid after the new hire has successfully completed 120 days of service.
